Cisco Academy opened in April at Urals State University of Economics (USUE). A program in CCNA Discovery has become accessible to students of the University and all those who want to improve their qualifications in information technology. This program will introduce students to the general theory of network design. They will acquire practical skills of building and administering various networks, from simple SOHO networks for homes and offices to more complex corporate environments. The program uses comprehensive electronic textbooks, network system modeling media and labs with modern network equipment. Cisco Academy at USUE will help educate qualified IT specialists who will fill the gap between fundamental knowledge and practical skills as required by present-day employers.
