On December 16 the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" presented the project of university campus that is to be built in the next 7-10 years in the South of Moscow. The world-class campus will form a part of the innovation center that combines science, high technologies and business.
The 8th International Junior Science Olympiad took place in the Republic of South Africa. Russia was represented by six students from different regions: Maksim Didin, Ainur Maksutov, Igor Panin, Vladislav Tumanov, Denis Fomichev, and Maksim Khabarov. They won three gold and three silver medals.

Representatives of the Fortum company and Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland) spent two days with the students from South Ural State University.
During this meeting, the Finns told the students about the company development strategy, about the career, educational programs for students and about employment.

Dagestan State University has concluded an agreement with the Agency of Culture of the Republic of Iraq Embassy in the Russian Federation on increase of the number of Iraqi students studying in the leading educational institution of the Republic. The agreement was signed on the initiative of the Iraqi side today, on December 2, in Rector’s office of the DSU, IA REGNUM correspondent said.

The CIS finalists of the ACM ICPC annual computer programming competition were defined on Sunday during the semi-finals of the contest in St. Petersburg, the correspondent of RIA Novosti reported.
About 200 teams from the leading Russian and CIS universities took part in the semi-finals in St. Petersburg.
