The Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra approved a cooperation agreement with Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov, under which it is planned to organize scientific conferences, to conduct competitions for schoolchildren and to develop a distance learning system for government employees on the basis of the Moscow State University, informs press office of the governor of the region.
"One of the innovations of Yugra development strategy for the period up to 2030 was the fact that we have implemented a modification of this basic document. It involves conduct of research and analytical activities in the current planning period, whish ensure to comprehensively examine the top-priority directions and prospective opportunities of regional development,"- said the Governor of Yugra Natalia Komarova, announcing the promising areas of cooperation.
According to her, this provides scientific support of strategic management decisions of the government authorities, which should also increase the quality of software documents. It is assumed that MSU will be one of the partners in this work.
Additionally, the partnerships between the regional government and the main university of the country, as explained by the governor, will focus on the development of the public segment of the Territorial information system of Yugra, support of innovation and the implementation of joint projects in education.
"The developments of MSU associated with modern medical technologies for remote diagnostics also are of interest for our district. In general, our cooperation should contribute to the development of the scientific school of Yugra and to promote scientific innovation in the autonomous region," - resumed the head of the region.
In addition, the document provides for cooperation between the region and MSU in the field of small and medium-sized businesses, protection of the population and territories from emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters, environment, energy conservation, development of information and communication technologies, environmental management.
